 Williams Carpet Refund & Returns Policy


All refunds & returns must be approved by Williams Carpet prior to returning and/or receiving a refund.

  • As a floorcovering dealer, Williams Carpet deals in roll goods such as carpet and vinyl, boxed goods such as hardwood and laminate, and individual items such as area rugs, trim pieces, adhesives, and other accessories. Pad is packaged in rolls containing 10 to 30 square yards. Each package is considered an item. Most of the flooring sold by Williams Carpet is 1st quality merchandise with manufacturers' warranty, but we also sell close-outs, specials, tavern and cabin grade wood, carpet promotional goods, and other substantially discounted floor covering. There are NO RETURNS on any of these discounted goods. Ask your Williams Carpet sales representative if you are unsure of the quality of merchandise you are buying.
  • In-stock quality items, such as area rugs, unopened rolls of pad, trim pieces, adhesives, and most other accessories, may be returned in accordance with the following conditions: These returns must be made within 15 days for a full refund. The merchandise must be unopended, except for area rugs, and in original condition. Boxes of wood and laminate purchased from Williams Carpet may be returned within 15 days if they are unopened and in their original box. The customer is responsible for all shipping cost.
  • Carpet and sheet vinyl purchased from Williams Carpet stock can be returned according to the following conditions: Rolls can be returned within 15 days if the customer purchased the entire roll, and no cut was made. Cuts less than 30 feet cannot be returned. Cuts 30 feet and over can be returned for a 30% restock fee. The customer is responsible for all shipping cost.
  • All merchandise, i.e. carpet, vinyl, laminate, hardwood flooring, accessories, special pad, etc., ordered for customers is subject to a minimum 30% restock fee. Cuts under 30 feet cannot be returned. Special order carpet and custom design area rugs are subject to a 50 to 70% restock fee. The customer is responsible for all shipping cost. As a volume dealer, we will work to make the manufacturers' restock fee as low as possible, but special order merchandise has little value to us or the manufacturer.
